On Saturday, August 29, 2015, I married the love of my life in my parents' backyard. It was a smaller wedding, only around 100 guests, and we held it at midday so brunch could be served immediately following the ceremony. The menu included crepes with fresh cream, maple glazed sausages, grilled potatoes and peppers, pinwheels of brie cheese garnished with raspberries, miniature cinnamon rolls, spinach and cheddar cheese scones, and apple bottom coffee cake. My entire life has been centered around food and socializing and our wedding was no different.

After I got married, I was once again reintroduced to the importance of food. And the role it plays in Blake's and my relationship.
